Clear terms for finished media.

These terms govern access to MUXEVO, a file-based service that creates caption files and captioned media from prerecorded content. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
Accounts and approval
You must provide accurate account information and protect your sign-in credentials. Access may require administrator approval. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
Your media and permissions
You retain ownership of your media and instructions. You grant MUXEVO the limited rights needed to receive, process, analyze, caption, store, deliver, and delete that material at your direction. You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed to submit the media and request the selected processing.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service to violate law, infringe rights, distribute malware, evade security controls, overload infrastructure, or process material you are not authorized to use. We may suspend processing that threatens the service or others.
Captioning and output review
Automated systems can make transcription, timing, placement, and sound-description errors. You are responsible for reviewing captions and deliverables before broadcast, publication, legal reliance, or distribution. A successful technical quality-control result does not replace editorial or regulatory review.
File-based service
MUXEVO processes prerecorded media asynchronously. It is not a live-captioning, emergency, accessibility-assistance, or real-time broadcast service. Processing times are estimates and can vary with file size, format, enhancements, capacity, and retries.
Retention and delivery
Uploaded media and completed deliverables are scheduled for removal seven days after completion unless cleared sooner. You are responsible for downloading and preserving required deliverables before expiration and for sharing delivery links only with intended recipients.
Charges and service changes
Any paid plan, credit purchase, quote, or usage charge will be shown before it applies and may include separate commercial terms. We may improve or change features while maintaining the essential service described for an active order.
Availability and responsibility
The service is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, MUXEVO is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be limited.
Suspension, termination, and changes
You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict access for material violations, security risk, nonpayment under future paid terms, or legal requirements. We may update these terms and will post the effective date with the current version.
